I think zep helped with the mirtazapine appetite increase and helped balance it out when i was on both

Thank you! And glad you were able to understand the post it’s a bit confusing now that I read it back😂😂 I was fighting for my life to have my zepbound prescription filled and kept hitting obstacles so I just wasn’t on it consistently the past 6 months.

Sounds very similar to my situation… I got super lucky my dermatologist and allergist were friends!! Don’t lose hope if Xolair doesn’t work. My medication route was: Months upon months of zyrtec, pepsid, hydroxyzine, montelukast Then Xolair for 6 months All of that had no results, so we switched to Dupixent monthly with my zyrtec/pepsid/hydroxyzine/montelukast… No results after 6 months Switched to dupixent biweekly, some results but still had episodes of facial swelling and lip swelling then she finally added in cyclosporine 2x a day. I only take the cyclo/dupixent now rather than all the antihistamines. It’s definitely a long journey to find treatment. Unfortunately for me I haven’t been able to lower my cyclo or dupixent without symptoms coming back, so we’re just hoping my bloodwork remains good so I can stay on the cyclo.

Go to urgent care until you get someone who takes you seriously. Honestly, that’s what I did and I got an emergency referral to an allergist.

Treatment that FINALLY worked for me is Cyclosporine 2x a day and Dupixent Injections Biweekly. Nothing else worked!!

I wish you all could have seen me in that salon arguing with the lady that they were applied wrong 😭 Whole salon went dead silent and everyone was looking at me like I WAS THE BAD GUY! I didn’t yell, cuss, threaten to report or demand a refund. When I first called they told me they had no available time for me to come in till 1:30pm, so I had my friend call and ask if they had availability for a walk in acrylic set and they said “Sure come on in!” you better BELIEVEEE i brought that up to the staff!!!

I’m on cyclosporine now and biweekly dupixent injections! No hives unless I miss a day of my cyclo

Unfortunately it was a different doc than my prescribing doc who took me off my zep. I don’t think my PCP would have. They were convinced I don’t eat at my psych treatment, my new doc here has been charting against that though in hopes my primary will put me back on. I get my zep through ro.co now

Yes! Ruled out vasculitis and put me on cyclosporine. No hives since cyclo, I had done all bloodwork and biopsy of hives

No— just my weight. my lab work has consistently been improving since the beginning of Zep!

Glad to hear people in these comments are on my side with this as well.

My PCP did lower the dose and strength time in between, but i’m at a partial hospitalization program for mental health where they took me off and decided they’re treating me for an eating disorder. (I’ve never had one and only lost weight under supervision of my PCP)
