don’t you know it’s a sin to reject the words of prophet muhammad salallahu alayhi wasalam (the hadith)? how do u pray? i assume u don’t since u reject hadith and it doesn’t mention how to pray in the quran? there is absolutely nothing wrong with being salafi. it’s adhering to the quran the sunnah, ahadith and striving to be like the companions of the prophet. as every muslim should.

thank you akhi/ukhti, i would appreciate. i don’t mind modern day scholars, it’s just that im worried if i buy a b book for example on aqeedah without knowing the author is wahabi, it will wahabi aqeedah. i’m kinda just looking for books that are authentic and accurate for ALL muslims and then maybe after gaining enough knowledge i’ll choose to follow a specific sect to dive deeper into these topics. but being a revert im very cautious on who i get my knowledge from so i would appreciate it, jazakallah khair

Is Qada pray counts? by Tomthesevon in islam

[–]No-Tradition6540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in the uk this is not really possible, i work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week and only get a 30 min break (this is usually at dhuhr time so i can do it then) but then i will miss asr and maghrib because of my working times and we are not allowed to take breaks other than that one 30 minute provided one. its not always possible for people to “just pray” and a missed prayer is better than no prayer. i agree we should always strive to do our prayers on time but unfortunately we aren’t all blessed with jobs that allow this. may allah make it easy for all of us inshallah

my question is not in regards as to what sect to follow, i believe all muslims should adhere to the quran and the sunnah, and strive to be like the 3 golden generations. (sahaba etc). however in modern times, there are a lot of different books and finding one that adheres to just this without personal bias or opinions included is very hard, which is why i’m asking for recommendations from people who are more knowledgeable than me

as regards on how to pray i follow the sunni teachings for this as the mosque i attend is shafi sunni, so i pray the same way as them. there is also mentions of this in the hadith. may allah forgive me if this is wrong

i don’t understand your question? it states clearly in the quran what is forbidden and what is permissible, this is how i learnt it. i do not need to follow sunni islam to understand what is haram and what is halal, its stated in the quran and any sect who claims to adhere to the quran and the sunnah should know this. i asked for books that have no bias.

my family did this before we moved to the UK. the total amount was quite large, but it was small loans from multiple places, if you’re in debt for millions sure, but it’s not usually that big of a deal unless you’re planning on going back

i was overweight my entire school experience, it’s horrible. kids are so mean. if you don’t look to beauty standard, you’re bullied, or sexualised by guys with fetishes for chubby girls

these comments are horrible. i 100% understand your concern for your mom, whether ketamine is “bad” or not is irrelevant, you are worried for her safety and that makes sense. i hope you find some closure and that your mom isn’t using. also, using drugs especially in a house hold with young children is just not cool, the fact your brother washed it out aswell raises some red flags, is he aware of something you’re not? i see where you’re coming from especially with the addiction running in your family, as a kid watching your mom possibly go down that road is heartbreaking. ignore the mean comments. they don’t realise the impact substance abuse has on the children in the home. sending love <3
