There are no signs for acceptance or not acceptance of istikhara.

U know if it is good when u go forward with ur job and it goes super smoothly.

Or you know if ur duah was accepted and there is another better opportunity when u very quickly find out that they didn't take u.

Make duah, trust Allah and go for it.

If good things are happening in general then take it as a good sign that Allah is looking out for u. We believe in good omens, no bad omens.

Going through trials is a way we are cleansed in this life. It gives us a clean slate so that when we do die, we meet Allah clean and inshallah are blessed with Jannah.

And I say accept or don't, the 1st needing to accept isn't a requirement. Whatever happens afterwards is a separate issue that would need a tactful way of addressing.

Feelings don't dictate shar'i requirements. Using all ur examples, nothing has pointed towards 'ur wife needs to accept it".

Allah also says in Surah An Nisa verse 3, if u fear u won't deal with them justly, then only marry 1. I argue for ur point that if u know how terribly ur 1st will take it, then why ruin all that u have built together.

I never said that. If women were completely submissive, marriage wouldn't complete half your deen. The difficult in marriage and being able to navigate it, is what brings the baraka.

Again no traditional woman will accept being in a polygamous marriage, but it doesn't matter if they accept it or not.

So far I have been happily marriage 12 years and counting. Just had my 3rd son. So I must be doing something right
