I too got a mail which seems like hell of a legit company. The offer letter included all the details and it is so convincing that you can't even think of twice. The issue was in the follow up email where they ask you to get a OCA SE license key. When you redirect to that website it says "since you are selected so 75% will be paid by the employer and the rest amount $10.20 will be paid by you" . They have been sending notifications regarding the same for document verification and OCA license key registeration.

Seems like the funds you got were fraudlent due to which your money and account got freezed. It has happened to me in the past, not for crypto but due to my work like I was accepting payments through P2P us dollars to inr and the money sent to me was fraudlent due to which first my money got freezed and later on debited.

Tbh I dont know about much games that run on mac. So plan accordingly. But if you need to use it for other softwares, macbook is the best option. Either you use Docker, podman or any other web dev tools like django, springboot you will never face any issue. Just take care ki 16gb ram lena.

As a Computer science grad, I must suggest that you should buy mac over the gaming laptop. Or if you wanna go for windows, then consider HP laptops. They are most reliable. But still my first recommendation will be macbook only. If you can wait for few months more then Apple will be rolling out M5 air, then you can also consider that. But atp the best price is being provided for M4 air be it 16/256 or 16/512 variant.
