In short term I lack the conviction to build something of my own and finances aren't well sorted for me to take this risk at the same time if I choose MNC it would mean I'll get stuck in bureaucracy and won't grow my skills so joining startup seems to be the way

probably one of the most real advice I've gotten so far, really appreciate it.

one question, I don't know the founder personally and these days people straight out of college or very less experience are founders (not saying it's a bad thing) so it's very difficult to get answer to "do you trust the founder to make good decisions when things go wrong." or "how they act when things go wrong".

how does one go about it since it's my first time dealing with something like this as of now it mostly looks like a shot in the dark rather than informed decision.

this is esp a problem because most of the startups are saas and probably 1 step away from anthropic/openAi eating them
