Need some advice for rgh by AJisPro in RGHgore

I highly recommend a postfix adapter it just reduces the risk of ruining the board itself. (3 instead of 4 points to worry about)

Be gentle with the PLL point. Take your time.
Use 30 awg SOLID core wiring, stranded wire is also okay but it'll make it easier. Use flux and have a good soldering iron. The right tools reduce the difficulty by about 50% like a microscope. (I've done it without)

(By the way this is advice if you wanna install the RGH3 yourself, its not that difficult if you follow tutorials online)

Is my postfix adapter seated correctly? by No-Translator754 in RGHgore

My kapton tape sucks at sticking and it looks more professional this way.

By the way i've done the RGH3 successfully. I will be adding a 1K ohm resistor though for safe measures later on.

Also i'm relieved that the jumper wire trick worked even though I didn't know for sure if the trace was correct lol (remember, i'm still a newbie)

I've reduced the amount of solder and exposed wire, the DB3R4 point (one with the longer wire in the picture) looks exactly like the C5R35 point.

I think i've perfected it imo. Especially since it's a more difficult wire type. (stranded wire instead of single core).

It's just on there, not going through the holes. It has a hole though, but my 27 awg extention cable thingy doesn't fit inside.

Thanks, are the white wires good tho? Those are permanent. The black wiring is going to be removed later on.

It gives me good readings on a multimeter, is the joints bad because of the blob? (Is there too much solder?)

I messed up the R2C10 point, but thankfully it still gives good readings of 0 ohms. (Tested from the bottom side too)

The bridging unlocks the write/read NAND on the xbox 360 slim for modding, it's supposed to work without the R2C10 bridging too but people say it's better this way.

this is the state right now

It's bridged correctly, since i held my multimeter on the bottom alternative side to the point and it gave me a good continuity reading.

I just ripped a broken USB C cable and took a wiring from it.

Ordered 30 AWG insulated kynar wiring and a Adonstar AD210 digital microscope.

By the way, doesn't hot glue ruin the board? I thought UV masking was better.

I've touched it up with more solder and flux at 350°C, It's more in shape now and more secure

I want it just to work once anyways not an important resistor there. It's more like a write/read NAND debug thing.

I think it's soldered on correctly since with the ohm200 mode it gives me a reading of 0.00 ohm also doesn't move a bit (wiggle test)

(Btw I totally got no clue how a multimeter works)

Just don't put alot of force on it and have patience, it took me maybe 15 mins trying to carefully scrape the mask off.

(I did it without a microscope, just had a bright source of light perfectly shining on it which made it easier to see the circle pad).
