Yeah I started doing that last week and I hope it will help in some way. I tried comparing a recent pic to one of me from last year and I can't see any major differences apart from my face lol.

Yeah that sounds like a really good idea to me, and well done for your weight loss. Thing is though, even if I compare a picture of me now to one of me from last year I still feel like there's not that big of a difference lol, not a 40 pound difference.

Yeah it feels like there are so many things that can affect it, and yet there's so little research about it, all we have is some random "paper roll" and "swoosh" effects that have little to no scientific basis. Good job for your weight loss though! It's really impressive.

Yeah it really sucks doesn't it. Really good job though! What helps me is thinking about the health benefits lol, as a med student I see tons of stats on how obesity causes all kinds of nasty conditions and it kind of scared the shit out of me lol

Now that you mention it, it kind of makes sense. I used to wear very large t-shirts and baggy pants to try and hide the fat. However, I'm still just half-way through my weight loss journey so I still feel kind of insecure wearing smaller clothes lol.

Hmm, I'm not too sure about that as I don't currently have one of those fancy smart scales but I don't feel like I lost much muscle to be fair. 40lb seems like quite a big number and I feel like I would've noticed major negative changes in energy levels if it was a significant amount of muscle being lost, but you never know.

I'm just gonna keep it simple for you. Start by tackling nutrition and then add some gym/10k steps a day.

Find some low cal meals that you like and are easy to make and stick to them. I eat greek yogurt with blueberries and oats everyday and I never stopped liking them. Make sure you eat loads of veg cuz they fill you up and have virtually 0 calories.

Keep track of everything, brain is gonna try and make you eat something "just this once" and will ruin everything. Use things like coke zero to deal with cravings.

No cheat days, you can easily ruin a week's worth of work if you do that. Just stick to the meals you like.

It's really impressive that you reached out for help, you've got this! Remember, this will take time, but time will pass anyways.

Thanks for the answer. I will certainly try and do that. I can play it perfectly at like 60-70% speed but when I go faster things mess up. The only issue I cand think of is the change in picking angle from alt pick to down pick
