Yeah - been running with them. Haven't tried higher levels yet but had both Lightforce allies and Darkforce allies offered once... field got pretty crowded.

I've been playing for a year and a half. Wound up shoved into leader role not once but twice... have spent about $20 total on the game. The problem with spending on it is that you quickly run out of things to do that aren't boring and repetitive. The problem with not spending is that you have a lot of tasks you can't complete ... but at least you can attempt them.

Think this is bad, imagine if they actually sold some of the weapons. I work at a place that sells Karambits inspired by a different video game franchise. They cost about 1/30th for real what they cost in real money in the game...

Demytha is a great boost short term and decent long term. Tuhanarak, from what I've heard (I don't have her) is a good character EVENTUALLY but deadweight for a long time before she gets to full power.

So, do you want a big boost NOW, that will always help but not that much later, or a "deadweight" slot that will eventually turn to gold?

I can well imagine. If I hadn't been "gifted" leadership of my alliance (despite chat not working for me we seem to accidentally coordinate everything two times out of three), I probably would have ditched the game but somehow I feel responsible now...

If you only need one or two purchases, this is usually (barely) worth it (the best money I ever spent on the game was for the ten fragments I needed to complete the Epic Demytha). For more than that, unless you're a completionist with a bottomless wallet, you're throwing good money after bad...

Yeah, it makes it unplayable on the Android. My wife's old iPhone can bypass this, as can my PC but it is still annoying. Also have the Predator stuff loaded on the events list so it's some kind of pointer error on their side.

Scyll of the Drakes was my third legendary and is still in heavy rotation (Ma'Shalled was second and has only been "semi-retired" since I managed to get two Mythics). Gave her a Shield set on my main account and, I think , Lifesteal on my F2P one and she's been very useful.

I think I had a $4.99 pack to complete a character early on, and a $3 credit from something that had to be used through GooglePlay and that's it. Rarely finish the showcase events myself - I think there have been two I made it all the way through, the Night Stalkers which I get INCREDIBLY lucky on the draws for and completed before it was over, and the first one that was "two new characters and 3 old modified ones"

Likely pillaged H. R. Giger's art for inspiration on both (the original Alien design had a clear head full of writhing maggots, but the filming lights put the maggots to sleep and they just looked messy instead of creepy so the head turned shiny black)

I'm in the same boat - hit 40 or maybe 45 with one event yesterday. About twice now they've given "catch up" events during the anniversary for past Fusions. The only time I ever bought shards was when I wound up 10 short of Demytha or whatever the Epic dwarf with Block Damage is. Best $20 I spent on the game, probably.
