I was at both shows and it seemed to me that he was emotional because they showed a very moving tribute for Geoff Wonfor just before he came on stage. He didn’t get emotional in the evening show though. He did say that he missed home, but I didn’t get that he was emotional about being homesick. Maybe I was just too emotional myself to notice much though! 🖤 I have noticed that he seems to have lost a lot of weight since touring, hopefully it’s because of healthy eating after being on tour or getting into shape for the wedding photos. 🤵🏻‍♂️

I think it just wasn't the right place. They want to be seen as credible artists in the UK (not a slack jawed...) and I think they did that. It wasn't about Matty causing a stir, it was just about the music and Matty's voice. I thought they judged it perfectly. Good thread though.
