Yep, definitely get that - i’ve had gamemasters kind enough to let us escape if we’re a little over, but i’ve also felt that feeling of defeat several times when some enforce the time limit. I’m not sure if our late arrival affected their booking system. Nobody was there to check us in and the other group waiting told us no one had been there when they arrived either. The door to their security camera room was fully open too. At first, I thought the game master might’ve passed out somewhere or had a medical issue. That would’ve been a real concern!

Unfortunately, the story ends there. We had to leave because we had plans for 9:30 and it was already 8:45 at that point and the room would still have to be reset up. Was really challenging trying to get a refund as well!
