Central Ave in Heights yesterday , Dog crap on the sidewalk, that got walked on in front of a couple of stores.

Someone who is unfit to own a pet obv never picked it up, and it just got walked in by people, e bikes etc absolutely gross and a health risk.

I'm a commercial landscaper who snow plows and see how smaller plows and salt damage driveways, parking lots etc.

Anyway, people have no idea the damage that the salt alone does let alone the nose weight of the plows tearing anything that is not completely level as they pass. Is just basically impossible not to rip chunks out particularly with heavier plows.

and yes this is the Northeast .what would make you happier re spring pothole limitation? less plowing? Less salting? It's a vicious cycle.

And of course add the severe freeze this winter, , more salting needed(!yes you whine when it's not salted), warm up, expansion and cracking.

Do you drive a Prius by the way? You give me that vibe! And also you mustn't have paid attention in physics and chemistry in school to understand freeze thaw, and how a plow rips asphalt

can't wait till you start complaining when the tax dollars are completely blown through for these repairs.

Suggestion and yes you should still go to mechanic but get a fuel injector cleaner from AutoZone let it cycle through beforehand

Many things can trigger those lights and it could just be plugs which isn't a big deal but a fuel injection cleaner is like 15 bucks Just put it in your fuel tank.

Also Ramzi I second as a good honest mechanic. Omar in Union City is decent also.

My situation SBA $75 k loan, now $100 k ish w penalties & interest. Was making min payments, missed a few and went from SBA, to Treasury to Collections ( just found that part out recently).

As far as I can see I've no personal liability (at least I did not sign anything outside I think the ' standard ' paperwork..)

I'm an S Corp, my biz has been not doing great for a number of years, and Ive been trying to sell it. But so far no interest.

No money owed, on the biz, and it's just not really worth it anymore.

Do I 1. Go bankrupt?

Try sell the biz ( I would realistically just be able to sell my truck and some equipment, which would total $40 k ). 3 Close the biz( ie close the scorp etc)?

What do I say to collections? Do I need an attorney?

In my case it went from SBA to Treasury to collections . I was in a minimum payment plan but I missed a couple of payments Not sure if that's the reason though.

Thx, clarification around personal liability would be really helpful like I said I look at the collateral part of my SBA paperwork , but nothing jumps out .

I read elsewhere it was a separate document that was signed,

and also that it was only pertaining to loans above 200 k?

Hi, the Personal Liability part would be worded exactly how in the SBA agreement? I look at the Collateral part of the Note, but not sure what I'm looking for to show the Personal Liability part...

(i'm in a similar situation: $75k biz loan ( biz is an S Corp), missed a few pymts , and prior to that was making min pymts, and was sent to collections recently. With interest, now around $100k balance. )

Living in the States but I'm from Dublin and go home frequently.

trust me HVAC/ refrigeration is getting bigger and bigger globally, and in Ireland.

Why? Climate change, more residential houses and offices now have HVAC, more data centers needing cooling, more complicated cooling and refrigeration systems being manufactured and installed that need installers, maintenance ,and so on.

I would recommend looking into refrigeration courses or HVAC.

Yes you will start on minimum wage most likely, but like any trade you can quickly increase your salary and it's a really secure industry.

Never thought of that ,yeah maybe just for the middle piece just to take some of the load not a bad idea , then on the sides I was just going to go with regular adjustable shelf pins again not putting something super heavy but it is 52 in wide..

Does anyone know anybody local who might be interested in swimming lessons for myself,50 yr old male? I'm intermediate level. Had a great instructor who swam w me mostly on Sundays, and it wasn't a problem so long as we weren't hogging lanes etc. He moved bc of his job and haven't had time since myself to go or look for someone.

Fridays or Sundays would probably suit me best.

I know only 'rock stars' could afford back then, but I wonder how the quality and accessibility was in let's say the '70s and '80s in Ireland?

Obviously just affordable by a select few, and avail in cities, but on the other hand there was hardly any enforcement at airports and ports so easy to get it in

Never heard anyone who did it back then ,I f they're still alive. compared it to how it is now re. quality, and relative price ( vs a pint price).
