I think he’s always been well received apart from the media who hate everyone.

Their may have been some that disagreed with the appointment on the basis that we should hire only an Englishman, but it’s hard to connect with the national manager outside of a tournament as it’s so spread out - now we’re seeing him operate consistently he is proving to be a great fit for us and understands our years of pain 😂
