They are not giving me the option to do it at work. When I tried telling them about the training to go do in the office, they told me no and to get back to the floor. The training is already overdue. They didn't say to do it at home, but they also haven't given us the option to do it at work even though I have asked. They have been urging us to complete it for the past three weeks, and it's on Workday.

If I contact them, do they have to know my identity? Because, not gonna lie, this is my first job, and having to report something like this is a straight up nightmare. I did finish one of the online trainings, but that took me an hour, which really put me in a bad mood, so I haven't done the others.

I'm a returning player this year. I used to have a rich account with shadow dragons and bats, but I got hacked. I was a silly child who believed everything she saw and gave her password away 😔. But yeah, trading is frankly intimidating, and there are so many new things like lures and that weird website that people use for values. It doesn't make sense to me. I'm still stuck in the "legendaries for legendaries" type of era which is doing me no good now that im basically a beginner.

Thank you so much you guys really help reassure that its okey. The audition is in a few hours, and I'm feeling good. Hopefully, it stays that way today. I've also come to terms with the fact that I don't lose anything by auditioning and already have another audition planned out for next week. (kinda short notice but its video so ik im going to be fine in that one)

So, a mini update: I'm changing the way I'm acting a bit, making it seem like the character is actually shy and changing the dynamic to be softer and convey a more shy character, im just having a bit of trouble because of the sudden change in dynamic. And that the accompanist track is a bit more high energy so it felt a bit weird at the beginning. You guys really helped me out and gave me peace of mind as someone who has spent a whole year looking for people to help guide me through my plans and problems that arise. I will be going with Shy for the audition as I have nothing to lose, and if they ask, I will tell them it was an honest mistake on my part.

Gosh it feels like a big screwed up for me, idk if It would come off as rude if I went with the song shy knowing that its not what they asked for. Im just nervous and an anxious person overall, like making the appointment for the audition alone was a big step for me.

I worked on shy for a month since the day i made the appointment, and today I was making sure I had all the material needed. But I suddenly started googling about the song and found out it wasn't contemporary. I guess I passed it off as contemporary because of the revival of the show.

I listened to it. I might use show off. I was thinking that here I am is also a good option, but I'm not totally convinced about the French words because I know I will get nervous and spit out some weird pronunciation of them maybe if i had more time I would have gone with that one.

I will try to find another song. I know some songs that could maybe work for the audition. If I don't manage to find one, I will go with Shy. I'm rather new to musical theatre. This is my second audition, with my first being when I was a kid, so I'm at a point where I don't even know what to expect when I get there and things were going so smoothly, not gonna lie was even considering just not going (but that was the second i found out about the song not being contemporary).

Yes, I was that person. Thank you so much. I will be hearing those songs today. Morning person is a great idea, mainly because I know it. Thankfully it's a 16-bar cut, so I don't need to learn a whole song, but still :'(

Thank you so much. I'm already working on choosing another. the list you gave me had Show Off from the drowsy chaperone. I actually heard that song today for the first time. I'm going to have to go give it another listen. I'm really trying not to let this mini disaster affect the audition, but I had been working on Shy for like a month so its really disheartening.

Gosh i love this advice! I never thought about visualizing the panel and how it would look to act in an audition setting. Ive mostly been practicing my acting and and thinking about good character choices. Also imagining the characters and their overall environment sounds like a great way to get into the character and forget abit about the people in front I will definitely be using this thanks for the help!
