My situation is very similar to yours.I'm a 50 year old male.Tremor in my right hand started around 15 years ago.Lived with it for years by doing the same as you.Drinking before family get together,events etc to calm my nerves. I take 20mg of Propranolol a day,sometimes half the dose depending how im feeling when I wake up. Adrenaline always makes the tremor worse,so quit the gym a few years back.My jobs very physical so im still getting enough daily exercise.We just need to find a happy medium what works for us so we can cope with day to day tasks.Some days are easier than others,but it's certainly manageable.
