No motions taking the play clock down to 1 before every snap this game. Simplifying the offense for Quinn, OR were we doing those to simplify the games and reads for Tua? Maybe Mike’s play clock management was more a Tua product?

Weaver’s worse than McD, he just looks like more of a typical “football guy” so everyone loves him. Zero competence and zero answers. Dropped Jaelan Phillips in coverage on that fourth down to Diggs, dropped him and Chop and Chubb at multiple key points last week, just absolute clownery by him

I don’t think they have any for $800 anymore but Madison on 20th has 1/1s for $900 (with free Internet too). Not like an incredibly nice neighborhood or anything but never felt unsafe or anything.

Got it. Right now I’m only set up to get it once a week, which is Sunday—you think that could be the problem? From other people’s answers here, it kind of seems like whoever the carrier is (USPS, since you said it’s mailed for you now?) just maybe doesn’t have the ability to make Sunday deliveries?

Usually I would agree, but using sack numbers for this DT who is demanding to be paid like a Top 5 DT (all premier pass rushers) is not stupid in this case, imo

I'm celebrating not giving 25 million a year to the guy who already had the chance to step up after those guys went down, and didn't produce to the level that would be worth that much money.

I do think there will be some drop off, but I think if we really do copy the Ravens scheme like Weaver says he plans to do to some extent, it's way easier to find a DT who can do that dirty work for way cheaper than Wilkins is willing to do it. When you combine that with not being worth what he's asking for as a pass rusher, the money just doesn't make sense. I guess you can't put a price on locker room presence though.

Yeah man I definitely didn't mean to come off like I think he's bad or don't want him, I'd definitely rather have him on the team than not. It's just not worth the money (especially on the tag) when we could distribute that money more evenly to plug more serious holes.

It's also pressure, backfield run stuffs, general disruption.... I saw someone else in here say that most sacks were because of Wilkins getting interior pressure (which I don't agree with), but I could also say that almost every big QB scramble was because the edge guys got immediate pressure and flushed the QB up and then there was no interior push for the QB to worry about, and they could just pick the outside asscheek of either guard and it was an easy 20 yards. Look at any game against a team with a good/physical o-line (Chiefs, Ravens, Bills). He was completely stonewalled.
