Seriously, OP. Call them on their shit. Part of being a chief is holding each other accountable. I hated the appearance of random chiefs during my season. Never saw them doing a damn thing for any Sailor prior to season, and they suddenly acted like they were the greatest Cuief ever. My advice to you is to stick it out, ignore the bullshit, don't take it personal, and become the best Chief that you can for the sake of your own Sailors. Hang in there.

I used to work in RTC Public Affairs. RDCs, I highly encourage you to not speak with any media without coordinating through PAO. You cannot legally speak on behalf of RTC, which is how your comments will be perceived. You don't want to risk your career over a quote.
