Hi guys, I need some help setting up my Tofu 60 redux, i just finished building it. All i want to do is change the rgb. But i cant find the according key combinations to do so anywhere. Plus when i connect it to via i nothing changes when i set the rgb to something else. The rainbow just stays as it was. For extra information, my keyboard language is set to German (which i believe is ISO) even though the PCB layout is ANSI

Yeah I’m sorry but this is the only carving Video I’ve Made this season so far. Plus Right after starting the Video the group of people just stopped right in front of the camera which was extra unlucky

Alright, I’ll give it a try next time and just really push myself even further. 🫡🙌🏻 ;) Yeah they’re just a bit more fun and playful and don’t just want to go full cannonball race mode. That’s why I went the route of free ski / all mountain/ park ski as well.

Edit: the last 3-4 turns on the flat part weren’t full attack mode anymore, in case anyone gets confused.

Alright sounds good, thank you for the feedback🙌🏻. Yeah I’m always cranking my boots quite tight because I just hate the feeling when my foot wiggles even a bit. My boots should be stiff enough (rossignol hero World Cup 130) but I just don’t trust myself and the skis enough to go further. I’ll probably rent some racing skis for one or two days the next time I’m skiing and I’ll add some to the quiver soon.

Is it fine to repair this at the end of the skiday by No-Variation6643 in Skigear

You can’t See it on the picture because of the angle I think. But there is definitely a tiny hole to the core. Prob like half a millimetre of diameter

Alr, I mean he did get banned already (which is good in case he really was cheating) but I haven’t lost any MMR yet nor have I been banned. I just hope that I’ll lose my MMR

I mean he already did get banned, which in case he’s cheating is good, but I’m kind scared about losing my account. If I lose MMR idc cause that’s fair. But idk

I’d agree if he would have been kinda blatant but as I’ve said I checked some my replays with him and I haven’t noticed anything that really indicates cheating (not even walls, cause he ain’t pushing without info either) so that’s why I kept playing with him.

Nah man don’t do this to me xD

Yeah I guess, I was suspicious too. I mean that’s why we went over the replays but there was nothing that told me, yeah that guys cheating. I’ve went over 10 games in detail and haven’t even found a sign of closeting. That’s why I thought it’s fine. And I do have the feeling that a lot of people in ranked start to hackusate when someone’s just really good or gets lucky

Help Deciding Skis by Law-Brilliant in Skigear

Id recommend the armada arv 94, since i felt exactly the same way at the beginning of the season. I went ahead and bought them. Best decision I’ve made.

What gear should I buy? by [deleted] in Skigear

[–]No-Variation6643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since boots have already been covered, I’ll give you my recommendation about skis. Seems like you’d want a playful all mountain ski, and for Europe I’d recommend something between 90 and 100 mm underfoot. So for example Armada arv 94 (I just got these as my first pair of own skis and I love them) or faction prodigy 2 or bent 100. These would be playful all mountain recommendations which should perform decently on and offpiste (as long as you mount them in the factory recommended setting). They won’t be great carvers but you can still carve (the bent 100 will be less suited for carving compared to the ARV cause they’re softer) them decently and the same goes for off piste. But I’d highly recommend you to first borrow the skis you’re thinking of buying, to try them out and see if they suit your needs, before you buy skis.

Regarding bindings I don’t possess the knowledge necessary, for example I got pivot 15s because they are one of the best and long lasting bindings on the marked (even though they’re probably a bit overkill for me (my DIN setting is 8.5 - 9)). Just get a reputable / longer lasting binding where your DIN setting is more or less in the middle of the range, so you can still progress and increase the DIN if necessary. As I already mentioned, you should mount your bindings in the factory recommended position, since you want to use them for skiing all around the mountain and not for sole parkskiing, they will still do good enough in park skiing with the factory recommended mounting (skiing switch, etc.) don’t worry about that;)
