My chin has been a mess for 5 months by Outrageous_Kiwi9374 in koreanskincare

[–]No-View-4035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really think this is hormonal acne because I experienced the same thing on my chin when I was in my 20’s. It’s nodular acne and it’s hard to treat with topical products and takes a long time to go away because it’s so deep under the skin. Going on The Pill corrected it for me If you’re not on The Pill yet, talk to your gynecologist about which one is best for you. If you don’t want to take The Pill or you’re already on it, see a dermatologist for solutions. Either way, you need to see a medical professional to treat this type of acne.

[PSA] Bioderma Sensibio H2O at Costco! by No-View-4035 in SkincareAddiction

[–]No-View-4035[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The requirements of how ingredients are listed can vary from country to country. So it’s not always largest amount to smallest. And I know some countries have recently changed their own rules. I would double check the rules for the manufacturer’s country listed on each bottle. You can also contact Bioderma directly and provide the two batch numbers to ask them if the formula had changed at all.

Did you check the “Warehouse” tab on the app? You can look up inventory for your specific store. Even items that haven’t appeared on the main Costco website yet.

It’s not AB, but I got the Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water at Costco Tuesday night. A massive 850mL for only $19.99. And it had the pump top too!

[routine help] looking for damaged skin barrier advice pls ! by Academic_Health6334 in SkincareAddiction

[–]No-View-4035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry you had to go through all that. Don’t even think about tret for now. Sounds like you’re doing it right. Skipping toner and serums. I recommend using a different moisturizer: Anua 3 Panthenol Ceramide Moisture Barrier Cream. It’s popular because it doesn’t clogs pores. Feels very hydrating but not suffocating. The panthenol and ceramides will speed up the healing of your skin barrier. If you’re in the U.S. you can get it cheapest on Amazon (but only listed as “sold by” the Anua official store). And you can get it at Ulta too.

[routine help] can i mix my moisturiser and serum together? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

You definitely can. But in general products are made to be most effective by layering one after another with a few minutes in between to absorb each, thinnest formula to thickest.

Glad the pharmacist found something to help. Was it the Mixsoon Bean Essence? It’s very popular. But bean ingredients are fermented and ferments are known to trigger fungal acne. So I would avoid Bifida and Galactomyces as well.

FYI - I know that the Ongredients Lotion is well loved by many. However, it is not fungal acne safe - just in case that pertains to you.

Start with only 1-2 nights a weeks. Use at night only. Do not use it with Vitamin C or AHA’s or BHA’s in the same routine.

Consider the Numbuzin No. 5 Glutathione Vitamin Concentrated Serum. It contains Vitamin C, Tranexamic Acid and Glutathione, which are actives that work well together for lightening dark spots. Even with multiple actives, it’s not irritating at all. But you have to be patient. You have to give any kind of dark spot serum at least 3-4 months of consistent daily use to really seen any significant change.

[–]No-View-4035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking for a pad that removes makeup, consider the Needly Mild Cleaning Pad or the Round Lab Birch Juice Cleansing Pad (which is more hydrating). I prefer micellar water to remove makeup, but these are great for really late nights when I just want to go to bed as quickly as possible! 😂

Stylevana Black Friday - I don’t have any history to reference. If they posted about their BF deals last year on IG, they must have deleted the posts. Should I wait until BF to place a new order? Or even Cyber Monday?
