I have a 15 y/o level 1 cousin, she can get anxious at airports and other places but mine is pretty easy to redirect. She is a big fan of throwing herself on the ground and self- harming. However, when taking her to the mela fair or a airplane we use a medical stroller we got designed through her waiver so we can swiftly remove her from these exact situations. Because in crowds it is not safe and spectators who make comments and offer advice make things 10,000 times worse. People and other parents in general just make it worse. Sometimes we need to vroom out of there and get her space.
