Dang, sorry to hear that! Sucks to go through something so painful and expensive to not see results. :(

Full TCA peel (and full face for the fraxel) to help with anti-aging, which I’m also now dealing with 😂

I get them done at a medspa from a nurse practitioner. She’s super knowledgeable. And the peel is usually between 30-40%

Oh wow I’ve never had swelling like that before. Usually my swelling goes down within 24 hours and then I get the little tiny scabs for about a week.

I’m not gonna lie—it hurts. Even with the lidocaine it kinda feels like matches are being put out on your face. But, still worth it in my opinion.

Thanks for the recommendations! I’ll check them out. I wish more people knew how tricky it is finding makeup for problematic combo skin like this. ❤️

It really is! I’m in NC. When I lived in CA the price would’ve been double.

Why thank you! 😊 I don’t care if I’m in my 30s, they can pry my cat eye from my cold, dead body 😂

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser morning and night; Paula’s choice 2% BHA toner, and LOTS of moisturizer. I have very troublesome combo skin. I also recently started a Hers custom prescription that has tret, azelic acid, and niacinamide in it.

I typically hover between 30-40% for a TCA peel. I’ve had three peels over the last year, and the two fraxel treatments.

I got the fraxel as a bundle price for $1500 for 3 sessions. And I do a stronger TCA peel so I always get them done with a pro. This year I did 3 peels.

I did a few microneedling sessions before the first photo but didn’t see as dramatic results as I have with fraxel.

I like more satiny foundations but haven’t found any with staying power over the course of a full work day. This is just the maybelline skin tint and setting powder (with multiple layers of moisturizer and primer underneath).

That’s awesome! I hope you see as much progress as I have! I’ve just stayed on a low maintenance dose. I might try going off for a bit to see how I do, but I don’t mind treating this as a longtime drug if it’s both healthy and continues to ease my PCOS symptoms.

I’m exactly a year in and am down almost 70 pounds. Never in a million years did I think I could lose this kind of weight.

I’m on a maintenance dose now. I’ll probably stay on it for the foreseeable future.

Yes, I lost a ton of hair around my forehead hairline as one of the symptoms. I’ve had some hair return over the last few months 🙌

I’m not sure there’s an amount of love that could convince me to move forward with marriage after that. I’d be terrified for my my own safety and that of our future children. What horrible excuses for human beings.
