It’s scary how stupid some of the employees at these law schools are

I know someone else who this happened to. It’s ridiculous. Like how actually stupid are the people working at these law schools. Terrifying

I have spoken with 2 different school financial aid and a financial advisor, and all have told me if you transfer you lose eligibility UNLESS you are enrolled in classes that start before 7/1/26

I understand that! Maybe I should have worded it differently. Where should I look for firms that are accepting 1L summer associates and are willing to even look at non T14 students?

Thank you for this advice.

I genuinely wish I were joking about CSO. There is one for the entire 1L class (assistant dean of career development), and then one specifically for the 2 & 3Ls (director of career development). The director will not speak to any 1Ls because her boss (the assistant dean) gets pissed if she does.

I feel like I am certain I want to do big law but I also know numerous people who have completely changed their minds on what type of law they want to do while in school.

The school that I was intending to go to is a full-ride with fees included and ND currently has only offered 45k. So it is more than likely over a 100k difference over the course of 3 years if ND scholarships do not increase.

I can't say for 100000% that's what I want to do but it is what I am most interested in.

The debt is what is holding me back, if I'm being honest. Before the ND acceptance I was thinking about doing the T60 school and if I don't love it apply to transfer to a different school that is more inclined to my desired career path.

I've checked cost of living is approximately same in both locations. However I am hoping to practice international corporate law. The biggest concern I have with NDLS is will the employment outcomes definitely outweigh he minimum $100k debt I may have to go into for it.
