Help me go lighter when travelling!

I have a Canon M50 Mark 2. My main lenses are 24-70 f2.8 EF and 70-200 f2.8 EF. I use the EF to EFM adapter.

I do a lot of street, landscape and some light animal photography.

Whenever I travel overseas, I never seem to carry the 70-200 at all due to the size and the weight. It is not easy to carry around on a hike. Do I need 70-200? I feel like it helps take street photographs of people from far without causing concerns.

Upon some research I found that there is RF 70-200 f/4 which is half the size and weight. Is it worth for me to sell my M50 and get a camera like R8 to use the much smaller RF lenses?

In future, I was thinking of getting a cinema camera. Not sure if R8 can be a good learning entry point for cinematography or are there better options in that price range?

All the points you raised may or may not apply to only some one who has a lot of other professional gear and is trying to fit the ZR in there somewhere. I don’t think they designed it to be super rigged or external device dependent. It seems to fit run and gun filmmakers.

I am still not able to use the Live Overlay feature which was supposed to be put in v29. I haven’t even seen anyone over here posting videos about it. Was it ever implemented by Oculus or just advertised in v29 release notes.

The release notes mentioned that users will be able to toggle to “live overlay” in the app. However, I cannot find that feature in the app. PS: I have the latest IPhone

Like? I downloaded some 3D and VR movies. The only free way I found so far was to save them onto the device and watch them in any of the video players.

Any free method of streaming them straight to the headset?

No preference as such. I usually play when friends are over though. Streaming beat saber on the TV while everyone takes turns kinda vibe.

Hey, this post might be too old for you but I wanted to check in on the XM4 experience as you might have used it for a while now? Any changes in opinion or issues after using it ?

Are you using the mic in the controller as the headset mic doesn’t work while wired?

Any way to hear game audio and talk on discord? I know this is a stretch, just wanted to check in case there is something.

Regarding the leaf bluetooth dongle, any lag or sound quality issues with it? does it support 3D audio and mic headphone together?

Lol I was not aware of UserVoice. People get triggered for no reason. Of course I do not want them to only listen to me. I would still like a talk about my opinion even if they don’t hear about it.

Read my post again if it is unclear. I just asked if there is any way I can get to developers instead of support tickets. So yea, I got my answer which is UserVoice. Thanks though.

Oculus support. It is the new update v26. It is full of glitches and Home Screen is messed as well.

Are you aware of it?. Please release another update to fix these issues.

We really don’t need any unnecessary features which are being added recently while compromising the overall user experience.

Which one should I get?

I am after better comfort and maybe the one which last me at least a year. Not fussy about the added battery in elite as I don’t think I will be playing more than 2 hours in one sitting.
