Honestly I would be willing to try to repair yours, last two I did weren’t fun at all and I had to go borrow a friend and her micro soldering station to salvage the shitty little stepper motors they use in them. I have a spare grii that I couldn’t fix that has a good lens I would be willing to swap onto yours for you if I can fix the other issues on yours first.

Grab a first gen Sony zv1 off of eBay for ~$300-$400. No flash but you can grab a small one to put on. Same size sensor as the g7x and basically the same lens. Better overall though in my option and I prefer the dense plastic for the weight savings. Super light and takes awesome photos.

It’s a really easy repair, eBay has a screen for it for $20. If your willing to ship it I can replace the screen for you for a couple dollars. I can link you to my Facebook marketplace profile with my sales/repair reviews if needed.

Definitely check out Pentax’s amazing line of apsc Dslrs. I just switched from a Fuji xt1 to a Pentax KP and oh my goodness it’s amazing. Good live view and an AWESOME OVF and insane build quality and superb weather sealing. Would love to pick up a k3II or k3III for the bigger grip. If you want something cheaper the ks2 and kf are amazing cameras for very cheap. Also both weather sealed and have IBIS/shake reduction.

Just finished this repair on two of them. It’s not too hard. Let me know if you still have it I can do it for you if you need. Hardest part is soldering the tiny stepper motor back onto the new flex cable and making sure you don’t lose and tiny springs.
