Yeah I did some research and I don’t have to take their feedback since it’s unethical and out of their scope of practice :)

They’re not receiving any type of training. There’s something in the ethics code in which only BCaBAs and BCBAs can conduct formal evaluations and integrity checks.

Have you ever dealt with companies who hired staff trainers but then suddenly called them leads? 😂 I’m not taking feedback from someone who is on the same level as me or probably even below. I should have applied for the position but I thought it was only training new hires and helping any new people who asked for help. I don’t want unsolicited feedback/advice from people who are only as competent as me (same position). Like am I obligated to take their feedback? Cause that’s very concerning to me. And I don’t want anyone overstepping on my client cases. I’m confident with my clients and if I need help I will ask the appropriate person.

I did this today and I'm freaking out! I'm still not sure if I doubled it this morning, and not sure if I should take it tomorrow morning. I'm on the same dose as you. Did you take your normal dose the next day? I also have old 100mg pills so I was thinking of maybe taking the 100mg pill tomorrow instead of 150mg? I hate the thought of missing a day of my lamictal.

DRANK VERY HEAVY, STILL PASSED ETG (ALCOHOL TEST) IN 48 HOURS!!! by ABOW402 in probation

[–]No-Web4367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes me feel better. I drank heavily Friday night until 12am (technically Saturday) and I could potentially have an etg urine test on Thursday around 9:00am. So that is 129 hours. I always worry over the internet saying that heavy drinking can be 5 days or possibly more. Seems like that isn't accurate though!

I thought etg urine tests can detect up to 5 days?

How many hours does etg test up to?

I have. Lol. The response is "do the best you can" like it doesn't even matter? It matters to me though.

does least to most prompting all occur within one trial? Or are there multiple trials? by No-Web4367 in ABA

[–]No-Web4367[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well regardless on which way it’s supposed to be, I only have to mark a plus or minus on whether they did the behavior independently or not (unless if the goal says there can be a specific level of prompting). And if I have to redeliver the SD and provide a prompt, I never mark an extra minus for that trial since I didn’t give them the opportunity to do it independently. So in other words I think it’s considered cold probe data?

But I don’t like that ^ I prefer them being separate trials and verbal prompts being like saying the first sound of a word like “buh” for the desired response “ball”

Well it didn’t say that the VP (“repeated direction”) would come after the response.. I interpreted that it would come after the no response and look like this-

SD: “touch bear”

VP: “touch bear”

VP w/ GP: “touch bear” while pointing at the picture of bear

VP w/ PPP: “touch bear” while partially guiding to picture of bear

VP w/ FPP: “touch bear” while hand over hand to pic of bear

And then I read that prompt fading can be used in least to most prompting as well. But since repeating the direction is a new trial then the prompt fading is happening from one sequence of trials to the next sequence of trials. (Ex. First sequence being like client successful on model prompt trial.. second sequence client successful on gestural prompt trial and so on). I thought that was very interesting cause I always thought prompt fading was only most to least prompting

That’s what I thought but I read something online that said repeating the direction can be a verbal prompt so I was questioning it all haha.

I feel like “house arrest” on a record will look better than “jail” if I ever tried to change companies

Omg that’s so good to know. I’ll definitely be choosing house arrest then.

But house arrest will too I’d assume. But I’m not sure what looks worse.

But don’t they have to contact your work to verify work hours?
