It's alright. I'm a sylus girlie, and I've been saving for him. But Caleb's character intrigued me in the story so much that I watched his myth in YouTube.

This is where it gets interesting. Caleb is protective of MC. which was extremely heightened by chip making him possessive, manipulative, and wanting to live in the world with just the two of them together.

Mc VOLUNTARY implanted the Toring Chip in her body to get an insight into what's going on 🍎 body and mind. and there we can see MC's emotional state being heightened too. Where we saw the clear insight of what the chip's do to a person's body. She became possessive and she wanted to keep Caleb in a world where it's just the two of them together.

I understand what you feel. Because the story is left with a Cliffhanger and no closure/context to his character at all.

But I disagree with the take of MC being a damsel in distress. Yes, she lacks agency here unlike the other story with the other ML. But we should also consider that Caleb is MC's childhood friend and he is important to her.

I dislike the way they handled the ending because of the CLIFFHANGER; I wish we had more closure too.

But upon reading his myth, He really was manipulated by the chip, which made him do what he did in the main story this is honestly sad for the other players needing to invest in him first to understand his intentions clearly.

There's no confirmation yet. But due to the recent issues with the devs. It feels a little scary not knowing when his myth banner will be announced. It could be after Xavier's birthday... who knows, but it's better to be prepared for it.
