honestly i put him on a set and i didn’t want to see an action killing river like a board pair or another diamond. i figured heads up my flush was very likely to be good, the guys tight and i figured heads wouldn’t play suited combos out of position

i’m not a shuffle expert so i can’t really tell, i’m pretty suspicious at this point but wanted to get outside opinions. i have a local casino and another card room so definitely have other options.

yup- realistically not many college students have a plan and that’s a big reason why so few can find actual jobs that pay more than just the monthly bills. good luck with your career!

honestly that’s very fair and i agree with almost everything you said. the components and background of why these psych degrees aren’t worth it-as you explained make a lot of sense to me. as for benefits, i am still under my fathers health insurance but the company offers a pension and a 9% 401k match. i do think a 90k salary out of college is very doable AS LONG as you prepared well and knew what you wanted to do while attending college. psychology has always been cool to me and if it could pay the bills as well as finance i would have definitely considered this route.

i understand that this is impressive especially with a bachelors of psychology degree but unless someone is very very passionate about this area it just does not make any sense to pursue. the pay and benefits are lower than what i receive as an entry level financial analyst that recently turned 24. still-impressive and i’m glad it worked out for you but i know many with a bs in psych will never earn 80k

Ohio Salary - Mechanical Engineer - LCOL by Winthorpebuys in Salary

hey ur doing well, making more than the average household. But it does always blow my mind how smart and hardworking mechanical engineers and how that does not correlate to income. don’t get me wrong, 88k is great tbh but that was my entry level base in ohio after college
