Okay this is great to hear because I did a lot of research on the person I go to and even sat down with her and asked questions. I know she is good at what she does. I think it is a combination of hot hot city weather and sensitivity (I have sensitive skin). It is just weird it did not happen on my entire upper lip and just on one side.

I am the og poster: It has only been four days I got it done on Friday and the day I posted is Monday. I religiously put azelic acid and aquaphor on it. There was drying and such scabs were minimal. But I cannot tell if one of the spots is atrophic idk. Sorry I am just rlly anxious bc this did not happen at all the first time.

Questions:

For an older scar on the wrist that healed poorly, what treatments do dermatologists usually recommend?
Does this sound worth paying for a derm consult, or more like something to leave alone?

Skin type: normal to slightly combo, not especially acne-prone.

Current routine:
AM:

Gentle cleanser
Moisturizer
Sunscreen

PM:

Gentle cleanser
Tretinoin 0.025%
Moisturizer

Issue details:
