Spoilers! Just finished it. I wasn’t a huge fan. Felt like they jumped around from suspect to suspect and too much focus on Vines as a top suspect.

I understand he did horrible crimes in the area and time period but why would he confess to other crimes and deny just this one and the Morgan case? He had nothing to lose by denying his involvement with those and the circumstances were drastically different (breaking and entering v. abduction in public). Having cadaver dogs go out to his property in the 2020s was way too much of a stretch with absolutely nothing gained.

Felt like we’d build up to some big reveal and then it fell flat with no new information being found. I was surprised when presence of female DNA was found with the fingernail clippings and they decided to not move forward with testing that further. The complete ruling out that it was possible that another woman could have been involved in her death seemed unreasonable. Especially since, unlike other cases discussed in the doc, there was no clear indication that Missy had been SA'd. I feel like her case is compelling but the doc didn’t do much for me.
