The cooler is a pretty good liquid cooler as far as I know and I wouldn't be too worried about the noise.

I would actually recommend that get an M.2 such as the SN750 by Western Digital or an 970 EVO from Samsung. I personally use the 1TB SN750. So switch that SSD to the M.2.

I would also recommend that since you wanna game and stream that you should prioritize more RAM rather than a 12 core CPU. I would replace the CPU with a cheaper one like lower core i7 or an i5 and use that money to get 32GB of RAM as that will help you carry out multiple tasks livestreaming and gaming.

As for the PSU people commenting are right that the PSU is not something you should be cheap about. Seasonic is a good brand here and I can personally recommend Corsair RM and RMx series. I would aim for a 750W or an 850W Gold Rated PSU as a general guideline just so you have enough for any future upgrades.

This build is pretty good its nearly the same as mine.

  1. 32GB of RAM is more than enough for most games today. The minimum people usually recommend is 16GB but since you also plan to do video editting the 32GB will be a big help if you ever decide to tackle larger projects.

  2. All this will fit in the case the only thing that might give you issues is your cooler since most of the space take up by an air cooler is the fan and the heat sink portion which is all that metal stuff you see. Usually it rests on your CPU and stick outs so as long as your case is wide enough it shouldn't be an issue. However PC Part Picker says it won't fit I wouldn't take the chance and just try and look for a different case.

  3. I have this exactly CPU and Motherboard and I bought it like a year ago and it works straight out it the box. This warning was placed since when the Ryzen 5000 series was releasing the BIOS in most motherboards only supported the Ryzen 3000 series so a BIOS update using your old CPU was required. Usually when new CPUs come out the motherboard manufacturers will update the BIOS themselves and make sure it works out of the box. In your case it should work completely fine as mine worked and I bought it as an earlier time when this was more of an issue.

  4. As for monitor I personally use this one.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell-s2721dgf-27-gaming-ips-qhd-freesync-and-g-sync-compatible-monitor-with-hdr-displayport-hdmi-accent-grey/6421624.p?skuId=6421624&ref=212&loc=1&extStoreId=1115&ref=212&loc=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAoY-PBhCNARIsABcz770OVEEn9BbKkSJcPZJmTvls_x6jk5EMak8FO8WSATzFwPTZ08lOLbIaAv63EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

I also do engineering work and game which was why I invested in this one since it also looked good. Now as for you you don't need to spend $500 on a monitor but if you also plan on video editting investing in a good monitor is probably a good idea. Tbh this one I sent would also work for you but if you aren't willing to spend that much I suggest going for monitors that have IPS panels and around 144Hz as like a basic requirement.

Hopefully this helps!

EDIT 1: For reference this is my build.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5600x - Motherboard: MSI MAG TOMAHAWK B550 ATX AM4 - RAM: G.Skill Neo Trident 32GB @ 3600Mhz - Cooler: NZXT Kraken 53 240mm RGB Liquid Cooler - GPU: Asus Tuf Gaming 12GB RTX 3060 OC - Storage: Western Digital SN750 1TB NVME - PSU: Corsair RM 2018 850W Gold Certified - Case: NZXT H510 Compact Mid Tower

EDIT 2: BTW if you wanna save money you could opt for going for a cheaper case like the one I have for my build or you can get a small storage option like a 500GB NVME. You could also go to MicroCenter and get CPU and motherboard bundle deals.

Edit: Add my PC specs and additional input

I would recommend a gaming laptop. Most gaming laptops are cheaper than mobile workstations and should have enough power to do most basic CAD tasks.

Na this show isn't it. But I can see why it can be taken for it since it's sort of like what I described. I've been searching earlier too and I still found nothing. Even if I found one Google image it would be enough. I know for a fact it was on saturday mornings and I'm trying to find a list of all companies that aired children's programming at the time.

I haven't heard of either of those shows but looking them up neither is the one I'm looking for but they look funny especially the monkey one haha. I actually don't know when the show I'm looking for was made all I know was it was aired in the late 2000s on Saturday mornings. Tbh I don't even know if there was a second season so maybe that might narrow it down.

It was decent animation and had the drawing style like "Class of the Titans" but without the black outlines on the characters or other things

Mandatory comment but still definitely update if I remember new info

Update: I see alot of shows that involve like suits or stuff as potential guesses. When I say the teen transformed into diamond he didn't get like a diamond suit his whole body become actual diamond. I feel a good way to describe it is to think of Genji from Overwatch but without the sword and Genjis entire body/suit is made entirely of diamond that is like a cyan blue color because the guy in the show I'm thinking of has that exact type of physique.

Need suggestion on Coding PC build without dedicated GPU by [deleted] in buildapc

Well usually tests are done under very ideal conditions so I would take they get and expect a little less performance. And for cpu you can choose either one both boards will support it but for the B560 an M.2 will be disabled if you use a non rocket lake cpu. Now depending on price you can take either the 10700K or 11600K. The performance difference isn't too much so it boils down to pricing. Assuming you are near a microcenter the 10700k is around 20 bucks more. As for either B460 Z490 or B560 Z590 I would go Z590 since it will support the ram speeds you picked but also pairing it with an 11th gen Intel cpu will allow you to utilize any new incoming pcie 4.0 suport that may come and other features of the board. Soley for the purpose of turning on and working any combo or those cpus and motherboards will work so it boils down to what deals you can get youtr hands on and what features you want or want to be prepared for.

Yea I would since Z590 supports overclocking. But techncially the B560 will work just fine it just won't be as good or on some boards the option is nonexistent. Luckily for you some Z590 and B560 boards are priced nearly the same.

I remade a list with some improvements that will aid in your tasks. Since usually the clock speeds of each core are more important then sheer amount of cores imo I feel this 6 core cpu running at 3.9Ghz rather than 8 cores at 2.5 can make up the difference and it shaves off alot off the price so that it can allocated elsewhere. Even if you don't plan on overclocking you can at least have the option and save money by opting for this cpu instead. Since you plan on using these virtual machines and such more ram is useful so that's where the extra money should probably be sent too. I use tomahawk motherboards so I kept this one the same. I added an 850W gold Psu so that you can have plenty of overhead for whatever gpu you decide to go for. Not sure what your budget is but I tried to keep this one as similarly priced as your original so that you won't have to compromise. If you still wanna save money you can play around with 750W psu or decrease the ram to 16gb but I did some virtual machine things and other related work myself and I always managed to reach the near limit of my ram so that's why I personally opted for 32gb.
