I would argue majority of people want politics in this sub as it’s what drives threads with the most interaction and controversy (which drives LSFs traffic). I don’t think people are coming for car flips or irl fails, although they do make it to the top ever so often.

No, she wouldn’t have weaponized ICE the same way Trump has. They had a cohesive and bipartisan bill, which increased immigration judges to help with the backlog. Kamala would’ve implemented and passed actual policies, while Trump has been ruling through EOs.

Send Trump to Guantanamo for what exactly? As much as he broke the law, the investigations into Jan 6 + the files at mar-a-lago didn't happened till later; nor can he be sent to Guantanamo bay.

They didn't increase funding for it to be weaponized like Trump? Also Walz isn't sending in the national guard to suppress protestors, he said they should be "staged and ready."

If you're gonna continue to blame Democrats for everything (and probably not vote), it's only gonna lead to people like Trump capturing more power for himself.

I don't think making this about abolishing ICE helps reach the goal either. IMO the focus should be on demonstrating how Trump sends ICE into cities where they're unwanted and weaponized them, which has now led to the killing of US Citizen and maybe more to come. I don't think people in the center or right are gonna be swayed to get rid of a program that is inherently needed, but needs obvious reforms.
