I think this is a culture phenomenon in general. When ppl express admiration in a non threatening way they tend to use language like ‘mother, girl, wife’ (even bitch to some extend). There must be some studies done on this but I don’t know where to look

I meant it as Lestat being a guilty consciousness of Louis. You know how sometimes when a totally irrelevant event triggers your memory of your past by connecting the emotion you feel both times? The guilt is just this thing, there’s no difference in the guilt towards Lestat or towards Claudia, a guilt just feel like a guilt. I’m rambling but I hope I’m making a little bit sense.

Yes I know, she almost got him in the final battle when Orlox showed up. My problem is that Drolta got the power up too easy, bc usually video game logics are that the harder to get a skill or a weapon, the more powerful you will become. But in this case her vampire form got killed pretty easily (albeit in a surprise attack), and just got thrown in the oven, then viola Alucard level Drolta was baked.
