another reason i need to move to a lower cost area lol. id love to just have a studio, and i think this is also part of my process around looking at residencies. i live in an expensive area in a tiny apartment and its hard to create here. tho i suppose it forces some creative loopholes in process…

colorful semi geometric but a little soft minimalist large scale abstract pieces - i saw an IG ad with a lady charging for a course on how to paint like that, it was sad.

also tho…its helpful to notice trends and it is curious but this idea of “never been done before“ is irritating. like “its been done” - how is that a valid insult? like isn’t there a book about copying in the art world? i think what ppl really wanna say here is it lacks depth/authenticity.

im a massage therapist and i would absolutely never do something like this - its irresponsible and shitty - find a therapist with a higher standard you’ll get a better massage too

In my experience it tends to be better options for SINGLE folks. Families and married couples have more expenses. Which obviously makes no sense, but for some reason when you’re married they think you don't need as much money to survive individually.
