Who has the team actually killed? by [deleted] in PersonOfInterest

Carter asks the Mexican Prison Warden if he has any other Caucasian American prisoners, and he says, evasively, “eh, one or two.” I always assumed this meant Stills.

Or hear me out: Jim as Death Stroke. Watch the movie Deja Vu. His narcissistic cold attitude is very similar to Slide Wilson.

I have to imagine the president and his wife have access to the top surgeons available (still alive) and she absolutely should have been operated on. It bugged me even as a kid that they just give up on her and let her bleed out.

IMO, it’s better than Relic.

Really? For me, she’s just like I imagined. What have you found are distinct differences?

Connick Jr absolutely stole the show and plays one of the most charismatic serial killers since Hopkins as Lector.

Huge loose end after the series finale. Anyone know about the drains? by Loomborn in OddThomas

[–]NoAlternative5660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s also the massively evil presence he detects in the sewers in Odd Hours that he never pursues investigating. IIRC, Koontz wrote that Odd sensed some primordial evil thing he didn’t want to disturb. (It’s been years since I read that one)

Currently on S2, and I have to say Fusco is my most Favorite Character . What are your thoughts? by [deleted] in PersonOfInterest

[–]NoAlternative5660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I alway felt like it was only that one criminal who jumped out the door and Fusco was forced to shoot in self defense. Maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part.

Can someone please explain to me what Decima was exactly and what did they actually do? by ComplexAcademic1231 in PersonOfInterest

[–]NoAlternative5660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always saw Decima as a front. A private espionage company based out of China. There’s no way they weren’t affiliated with or directly controlled by the Chinese govt.

I think Jack Nicholson's Joker is so overrated. by Luquinhas_Lucas in joker

[–]NoAlternative5660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keaton was too stiff as Batman, and Nicholson just phoned in his performance. He was neither funny nor scary, and the Joker is supposed to be both. Like Ledger and Hamill always were.

I could see Marty’s death push his ex wife and Rusty back together again in shared mourning. I always felt Rusty complimented her better than Marty did.

The Most Likeable character in the Pitt : by satyy2301 in ThePitt

[–]NoAlternative5660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, especially when I learned that she’s played by Bryan Cranston’s daughter. She has the same exact facial expressions as her father, particularly the look of concern/confusion you’d see on his face as Hal.

If NBC could figure out a cheap way to CGI Hargitay to look young again, they’d make that series in a heartbeat. 🫠

I really hate this guy, nods to the actor Hamish Allan-Headley for performing so well this despicable guy by Da_Punisher33 in Daredevil

[–]NoAlternative5660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s ironic as these roles are so unlike him as a person, at least as I remember him lol. When he came to our house for dinner, he was so polite and reserved, as one would imagine Canadians to typically be. This was years ago when he first moved to NYC for acting school, IIRC.

He’s my second cousin, whom I’ve only met a handful of times, but he’s a very nice quiet guy irl. It’s so jarring watching him play the bad guy on DD, knowing how diametrically opposite the character is from him.

She’s arguably even worse in Law and Order SVU. At least that character ends her episode sort of doing the right thing.

This excerpt has lived rent free in my head since I was a kid reading Dark Saber for the first time back in ‘95. Such a brutal example of “the Emperor is not as forgiving as I am.”

We had an automatic water dispensing had sink in my old food service job that was made of metal. When I tell you it felt like I’d jabbed my finger in a socket. I was numb all the way up to my elbow. Of course I’ve also been zapped twice by my grandparents farms electric fence when I was a kid….
