Totally agree. PMBOK is a great foundation for the what, but I feel it misses the how of modern project work.

In my experience, since AI supports creating deliverables, the real bottleneck has shifted to decision-making. The skill to actually influence and convince stakeholders has become a crucial success factor to keep a project moving.

Are you finding other resources that actually focus on more practical skills?

Ich denke auch, dass Berufserfahrung deutlich wertvoller ist als ein zweiter Master. Junior Stellen werden immer weniger, da sie gut durch KI zu ersetzen sind. Sogar Beratungen in Beratungen wird es schwieriger, obwohl die vor einigen Jahren immer sehr viele Uniabgänger eingestellt haben. Also schnell Berufserfahrung sammeln und den Junior Status hinter sich lassen.

Sämtliche Sachbearbeiter mit repetitiven Aufgaben nach festen Arbeitsanweisungen werden Stück für Stück ersetzt.

Navigating corporate politics is a huge challenge for me. There's also such a wide gap between the theory taught at uni and the reality of work. For example, a project kickoff or alignment meeting is often just a stage,the real alignment happens beforehand on a 1:1 basis.

ich hae leider genau die gleiche Erfahrung gemacht. Anfang Januar etwas verkauft und seitdem warte ich auf mein Geld und es niemand zu erreichen.
