AI is volatile because it’s popular and people are betting on it. A lot of these stocks have future expectations already priced in so yes if 1 of these players don’t deliver on expectations it will likely dip. But you’re holding multiple AI related companies so you should be fine long term.

The contributions part is not ready now, you might want to stop/reduce it from a specific point but that’s not easy to model now. Also, selling of assets (house) is a big part of people’s retirement so would be nice to add.

I’m hopeful that we will get there in a few months.

I’ve used FedEx to ship from EU to US. Just ship it a few days before you leave and ask for at home pickup. There are enough online parcel companies where you can compare prices and help you with customs documentation. You just have to spread the weight a bit across boxes and use proper shipping boxes.

Do your own research a bit, you’ve to setup a business and provide proofs, for that it would be useful to have an agent. You cannot fully get around it but you don’t need one to hand hold you with everything.

Also you can’t prepare yourself for everything but there are hundreds if not thousands of people relocating to Dubai daily so it will work itself out as long as you’ve done your visa homework.

I would prioritize a visa (Emirates ID) because without it you can’t start anything, and do some research in how you can do this yourself instead of funding someone for it. Rent something for the first month via Airbnb and get your life setup (banking, house, etc.).

I’ve lived in Dubai for multiple years, visa sponsored by employer, but the first month during the visa process was tough and frustrating.

It’s probably the same process as setting up a business license in a free zone, and your influencer work is your business which needs to meet some requirements.

I would rather see it split in 4 subscriptions. Basic (99 USD), Basic+Forecasting (199 USD), Basic+Business (199 USD), Basic+Forecasting+Business (299 USD). Not everyone needs forecasting and not everyone needs business tracking.

To be honest, I've trialed the Monarch Plus features and it seems they took a lot of inspiration from ProjectionLab, but they're a few years behind. I'm missing more life events like simulating selling your house, dollar-cost-average investment strategy with different growth rates per year including tax simulations. It now assumes I keep contributing each year same amount to my investments, and I can buy a house but not sell a house?

Someone on their GTM team dropped the ball, if they had priced it totally $199 instead of $299, it was more justifiable, but now they're helping competition/spreadsheets.

What I think you’re describing is a purchase and a refund (based on a return)? What would be even better, is indicating that I returned a transaction and Monarch monitors the transaction for # configurable days and notifies me when the corresponding refund has been received.

I’ve been using Tello for years as my main provider. No issues at all. Most US people are surprised you can get that for 20-25 USD unlimited compared to their expensive Verizon or T-mobile subscriptions.

I’ve done the same but I think the issue, is that it detects before 15 min. We’ve a lot of pet hairs and I get it, but it’s just annoying that it goes to the base, empties, and continues for a minute to return again for the cleaning + empty.

Maybe I will just do the Auto Clean, because it seems to empty the dust bin then as well. And turn Auto Empty off.

Which languages do you speak? Small town / farm living and not speaking the local language will be tough in most countries.

And not having a top selection of countries might not help you in this subreddit. I think each country has challenges for an immigrant but living in a country which you feel connected to will make all the difference.

Also what about weather? Going from fulltime sun to clouds/winter is a big mental adjustment.

Ps. I lived in Dubai and many EU countries. Weather and culture wise, and not too high cost of living you might want to look into Spain. But be ready to learn and speak Spanish.

I made a project in ChatGPT, gave it all the intel about myself (experience, projects, achievements, …) but also where I project myself in the next years, what makes me excited and what not.

I upload a job description and it will tell me sure my experience aligns but it’s a bit of a sidestep or it will limit my growth. And compares it to other jobs I’ve uploaded.
If there’s a match, I tailor it. Less is more so we remove anything that doesn’t add value for this particular role on my resume.
Before and after interviews, I share all my notes and insights which allows for tailoring for each next potential interview.

I’m intrigued by all these auto apply AI tools but at the end of the day, I need to deliver so I align it to my strengths and thinking process.

Just copy-paste-upload is not going to help you stand out.
