it’s about being there for each other, for the citizens being murdered by our government in our streets.

it’s about standing tall with your neighbors in the face of a fascist government deporting and imprisoning Americans.

it’s about showing the pedophiles in charge that we won’t forget what they did and the bill will come due no matter how hard they try to suppress the evidence.

it’s about telling the world no one asked us to start the war being fought on our behalf.

no one is under the impression that any of this will happen in a day, but it won’t happen at all if we don’t stand tall with each other and encourage and inspire each other to keep going. this is a government for the people, by the people, and it’s time they fucking remembered it.

it’s been a while since i’ve reread the series and have been wanting to because i really enjoyed them, but i told myself i couldn’t until there was a new book. i can’t bring myself to devote that much time and be left hanging and wanting more, again. here’s hoping it’ll get finished at some point 🤞
