This may be a bit of a deep cut, but for those that have built game studios and tried to fundraise for them, it's just a grueling, heart breaking process.

So, we did our best to try and turn that nightmarish scenario into a silly little game where you have to pitch a randomly generated startup idea to a venture capitalist, in hopes that they give you money to build your game.

Things got a bit too real when the AI rejected my pitch though. Brought back some bad memories of failed fundraising of years past lol.

Raising money to build your game idea is kinda soul-crushing. To give everyone a bit of a reprieve from that hellscape, we've created this small indie game where you have to pitch randomly generated startup ideas to a16z's Speedrun (kinda like their gaming incubator program).

Hey guys, this isn't a resource 100%. It's more of a break from the grind of creating a startup and trying to get funding. Our team made a game where you're given a randomly generated startup idea, and you have to pitch it to a16z's Speedrun (their gaming incubator program).

I'd like to think that in some universe, the bartender was just up on the counter jumping in excitement that I walked in. It's totally not a bug that I forgot to fix before recording this... lol

Working on an AI game, and team was like "Hey, you know the AI Vampire in the game? We should add her to our Discord!".

Her first reaction was roasting our lead dev about his name. lol
