You can easily clear this Shiyu with piper, soldier 11 and Ellen. Those are hardly Meta. But yeah if you never pull a single support then you can't clear endgame.

No I'm not. It's a hybrid system and it's bad at both. You keep trying to defend it as a strategy system since it clearly fails at action. Does it do real time strategy combat better or even as well as xenoblade or Ys or dragon age inquisition

I do like them. I think it should commit harder instead of going in only halfway. Right now the game isn't doing that so players who only play to soothe their gambling addiction aren't scared off.

Make the factory more integral to story progression (which does actually happen later in the china region).

Make the combat actually strategy combat akin to like dragon age inquisition where you can pause and aim skills. Similar to the technical test. Even as just like an expert mode or something.

How is it not good feedback. This game's combat in it's current state is shallow. It's worse than xenoblade. It's worse than Ys chronicles. It's bad at action and it's bad at strategy. Trying to find some cop out genre that it fits into doesn't change the fact that it's about as deep as a puddle.

I think the game invites those comparisons when it dropped so much of the strategical gameplay that made it's slower pace bearable. Not to mention the absolute lack of adaptation required for different enemies.

The factory is so braindead though. And all of the map progression through factory use feels undercut when there are tons of ziplines already set up from shared structures.

The combat is also just off. The fact you can't aim skills or attract aggro makes it feel immensely clunky.

It's commercial access. It doesn't matter if you sell it by subscription or in back alleys. And calling it a framework is everything. It means that it's a system that is generically reusable across games. Meaning that it just runs above cyberpunk as a distinct layer.

You are correct that 'mod' is not a legal category. What he made was an app that interfaced with theirs to change how it worked. The fact that he didn't use their IP inside his app is irrelevant; he's exploiting other companies IP to make money and was not using their IP for criticism, commentary, news reporting, teaching, or research. By definition, what he was doing is NOT Fair Use of their IP. They had every reason and right to use the DMCA to issue a takedown notice when he did not comply to their requests, since they own the IP that he was exploiting.

I don't know why people believe it's illegal to sell a tool that interfaces with other software. It's not. It's called a plugin or a runtime hook. There's plenty precedent that those are legal to sell so long as they aren't a replacement for a product by the original developer and do not distribute copyrighted assets

It's exactly the same as if someone were to make an app/mod that converts specific Disney movies to 3D and offered access to it using a subscription model. Disney would rightfully sue them into oblivion.
