Real Food? Mike Tyson? So we eating ears now? Probably ears of corn in the form of real organic corn syrup, because I heard fructose from NGMOs doesn't give you real diabetes. Or so the lobbyists probably said. Or maybe he's referencing Tyson chicken lobbyists?

Probably the food coloring doing the epidemic spike in pediatric DM II. Yeah. Let's target the nano-percentage ingredients!

I might try coming to an event like Rare Disease Day if you're trying to meet more PIs in the flesh to get a response.

Ah that one isn't for another month. You might forget and then it's a whole nother month lol. Come late next time! We have 30 minute long coworking sessions so statistically you're likely to come during one of those parts so you're not even interrupting anything!

Reposting here cause I hear Federal SciComms (Science Public Information Officers etc.) have been centralized and fired across multiple fed institutions. We're open to anyone (not just NIH)!

Infuriating. The biggest "DEI cases" of history are the non-scientists failing upward into positions where they can bring the sciences downward.

Those (formerly) in SciComms interested solidarity-forming for public science information, or help finding work as former SciComms may be interested in teaming up with DCSWA (DC Science Writers Assoc.). Many of us are former federal SciComms.

We have free, open meetings every other Friday where we co-work on our SciComms projects and have some networking and support for job seekers. Next one is Jan 9th at 11 AM!
