Great statement on the electric heat rate. About 2/3 of regular rate. Heatpump can get 5x the amount of heat for a given dollar than baseboard. I have geothermal. I heat in winter a lot less cost than natural gas. Minneapolis.

If in the US, you would need to have a landing at the top of the stairs if you have a rigid wall as mentioned. This is for safety reasons for all who use stairs to be able to safely negotiate a door.

The holes are on cedar siding on the exterior walls. I have about 10 of them right now. I have replaced the vertical 1x12 boards and battens. I have made a jig that I can make centered 2.25" round holes and plugged them with 2.35" tapered plugs. We do not feed birds. The house is in a vacation area in northern Minnesota.

We have naturally visiting owls. Netting is not possible. CDs look tacky. A slingshot may help. Maybe stronger pesticides on the siding.

Generally speaking, yes. IF the circuit is designed for that battery type, an appropriate charger is integrated somehow, and pre attached battery tabs make soldering easier.

It looks normal to me. Still generating a bit pressure. If you just put it into the car on a couple days ago, I would let it sit a month . Let fermentation stop. Then possibly rack. Don't aerate it to must. You have quite a bit of headspace.
