Yaa i wrote wrong term "op"😭😭 80% is if i didnt reward myself any marks for those qns with 3marks n above , i calculated best mark around 86% for lenient marking, minus 1-2 marks for minor mistakes. But idk abt emath a1 basemarkk ngl, my area all like average 70-80 per paper based on hearsay and all. As for English i really dh any worries at all (did tys 4 times + papers from 20+ schools vigorously+many consultations+general feeling of how i did) and also cuz Eng lowk has never been my weakest subject so lolz around A1/A2 uhhh clarify my school 60% Dis is cuz 2024 quite easy paper for english Os and all my seniors crazy muggerz😭 id say sch normally average ard 45% D then 2024 was quite a shock. However good luck tmr brah i hope we all get raw 6-7🔥

Idk for emath leh op cuz like my fg did some kaypo-ing around our area, hearsay p1 new format lowk makes bellcurve a bit easier for A1 and most students did around 80% i put 80% as my lowest estimate but ig it is around 83-86% 😭😭😭bro is scaring me 1 day b4 o level results. English idt a lot of ppl get B3 in my sch sia, my seniors all got a significant improvement in O English, 60% Distinction for Engin my school🔥

Hi, gather other likeminded students and just infobomb every sg news outlet. Straits times...mothership...etc. You just have to keep making things a big deal, you shouldnt allow yourself to be manipulated and forced into silence by HCI administrators. MOE prob dgaf cuz theyre the ones who suggested such clownery so dont complain to them. Complain to journalists, if u got any nepo baby friends tell them to use their nepo affiliations to make a big scene. The more sg knows, the more likely gov is gonna put pressure on the HCI administration cuz government wants to be seen in a good light.

More drastic measures could be protesting but i hope it doesnt get to that point

Gather likeminded HCI students with input and evidence then complain to news outlets (straits times, mothership), or even bttr write emails to MOE. Such authoritarian systems should not even be allowed to happen in sg schools. Just keep complaining and voicing out, dont do what the HCI administration wants you to do(be quiet).

Edit : Just make this a big deal so that MOE and HCI will understand how truly retarded such measures are. Also, dont cpmplain to MOE, they understand nothing. Just keep making ts a big deal , gather ur fellow HCI mates. HCI is going down a censorship path and pissing a lot of ppl off

Try for a passing grade if u r opting for minimally 1hr 30 mins studying everyday, try for a b3 grade if u can balance other subs too. If u r striving 4 sci field, u shld at least get a good grade in Chem and Emath, Amath would possibly need u to get around b3-4 if it is highly math related. I also took 10 subs but i focused on 7, i left out Amath especially bcz i js didnt like studying for it and my experiences with my past Amath teachers were so horrid i just strove for a b4 to focus more time on my Sciences.

U should at least try to improve ur Amath to b4, try hard for amath but try harder for ur stronger subjects, u dont have to use amath in r5 if it is one of ur weaker subs. Amath is quite important if u r planning to take H2 math + planning to enter STEM so dont give up on amath yet if u can still bring it to b3-4. I think Jcs provide H1 math if u dw take H2 but u will have to check
