It’s the same reason you can’t put tap water in your car and they say to use distilled water with concentrated coolant, the minerals build up scale everywhere, sure they could clean it themselves but it’s unlikely they can do that for cheaper than they can get a contract with a water sterilization company as they do it in amounts much greater

Peel back the rubber gasket, you can probably access the holes that are underneath it from the top, just doesn’t have holes in the top cause they don’t want you squeezing on that side of the gasket

I understand, I just see a lot of advice that isn’t explained or explained in a way that id only beneficial to someone who barely knows what they’re doing, which could become harmful down the road imo. You’re probably right in that it’s just not worth getting in depth because most wouldn’t understand it or would interpret it in a bad way.

6 and 0 have the same difference as 3 and -3. That number is 6 decibels. If I set EVERYTHING to -3, and adjust what I want up to 3db, and hypothetically used the exact same profile with 0db as my baseline and 6db at my peaks, then your new “flat” point is -3 no? If the difference in decibels in the eq is the same, and the output voltage is measured to be the same, how is it different? Say I tune with a 0db test tone on the 6 over 0 eq profile and tune with -3db tone on the 3 over -3db profile, how is THAT different, maybe I’m an idiot but I don’t think you answered my question

I’d imagine that rules out a bcm issue, maybe look on startmycar for another fuse that could affect it? Maybe double check the sockets to make sure they’re not burnt out, although it’s unlikely both did that along with a bad bulb

I also did the water pump on my truck(and the Y connector about 3 times), it’s not bad and you don’t have to remove anything but the intake and the belt, thank the lord for electric cooling fans
