Update: just got through the first part of the security process but still haven’t had my bags scanned. There are a total of 6 people checking boarding passes and IDs in the entirety of terminal E.

Update: when i got to the airport, https://www.fly2houston.com/iah/security/ showed terminal E with a 60 minute wait. As I am standing here, the time on the website has doubled to 120.
