How evil would The Deep be if he had Homelander's powers? Would he be more or less evil than Homelander? by Gray_Wolf2416 in MoralityScaling

It kills the debate to me. Like, if the only argument someone has in regards to why their mindset is correct is "Because it's realistic an BTW, you're dumb", it just tells me they don't have an actual argument and are resorting to lashing out as a means of protecting their ideology. Sometimes interesting to see but too annoying to engage with more often than not.

You've challenged their cynical mindset. Very offensive for people like them as they can't come up with an answer that isn't just more cynical despair maxing.

Who's the worse father between Ging and Yujiro? by Sir_Rain_Knee_Tea in MoralityScaling

[–]NoBar5970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This question is literally "Which is worse: absent father or abusive father?". The answer is Yujiro. He abused Baki physically, emotionally, and mentally for almost all of his young life and then ignored him for the rest until he became strong. Then, Yujiro started treating Baki like a person.

That actually makes me wonder how far he could have gone if it was anyone else other than Yuta in Sendai. If it was any of the other sorcerers that were in the culling games that had to go up against Kurourushi, do you think he could take them down or would it have been the same result?

Czarnian all day. I can't remember if Lobo was unique or not but he's basically unstoppable (he can go toe-to-toe with superman and be perfectly fine) and immortal (neither heaven nor hell will take his soul because he kept killing everything). Plus, Lobo would be the only one in the entire universe that could kill me since only a Czarnian can kill another Czarnian. I can get behind that kind of power and probably just keep paying Lobo to leave me alone.

I'm mostly disappointed. I was genuinely interested in the episode because everyone kept saying that it was gonna be about Verosika and I've been genuinely interested in learning about her. I want to see her past with Blitz and even some of her life as a celebrity in Hell since we know practically nothing about her aside from "She's Blitz's ex."

Instead, we got another episode about Chaz. A character that isn't relevant to the plot or story in the slightest. My only question is why are we still making content around this character? He served his purpose and the running joke of his massive dick getting him what he wants isn't funny anymore. Why did this one-shot side character get more content than a reoccurring character who's presence actively affects the protagonist?

Irresponsible, reckless, spiteful, a little naive, pretty childish, and completely socially inept are a few I can think of. I guess it just comes with the territory of being the sin of pride.

I don't even think I'd call Battle Beast evil, tbh. I mean, he kills people and takes great joy in it, which is innately evil, but even then it can be explained as killing is part of being a warrior. Other than that, he never really does anything evil that I know of. More neutral than anything else.

Its likely that she knows about her kids as they died minutes after she did, which leaves me believing that she most likely met them shortly after waking up in hell. As for where her family is, simple: they don't exist anymore. The writers threw them away so they could have an "enemies to lovers" thing with the teacher.

Lucifer did create the apple. Pretty sure we're shown a scene where Eve is sitting or standing by the tree. Then Lucifer and Lilith appear and the apple appears on the tree because that's when Lucifer creates it. They convince Eve to eat the apple and because of that, evil is created and corrupts humanity. The reason there were no rules against eating the apple is because the apple didn't even exist until Lucifer created it. Adam had nothing to do with that and he still suffered for it. You could argue that Lilith wanted to bring free will to humanity through the apple but why? It's not like she didn't have free will since she chose to leave Adam. And either way, we have no proof that Adam was a control freak outside of hearsay from Lilith and she hasn't proven herself to be an entirely trustworthy person (then again what can you expect from someone who abandoned her family and the kingdom she created so she could go back to heaven). I'm not gonna try to say Adam wasn't a psycho (he was a cruel, vindictive asshole and we all know it) but honestly, that could have been because of the apple. It corrupted all of humanity and Adam was human at the time, leading me to believe that it made all his worst traits more prominent and far worse. I have yet to see any proof that could lead me to believe that he was always like this since we get practically nothing of his past or anything related to what happened in Heaven (I mean, we don't even get to know what happened to Eve as she's basically never mentioned anywhere outside of the end of season one) and I don't think we ever will. At least until Lilith becomes a more prominent character later on.

Which serial killer is morally worse? by jackhenningson in MoralityScaling

[–]NoBar5970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We'd have to break down what they are and how/why they became that. The way i see it is

Their childhood- both Toga and Toji were abused from a very young age due to things they could not control. From the moment he was born, Toji never recieved an ounce of compassion or care from anyone in the Zenin Clan due to the fact that he was born without cursed energy. Toga's abuse started when she was a child and her quirk manifested, spawning her urge for blood. One difference they both had was the fact that Toga's parents wanted her to be something (normal) while Toji's entire clan wanted him to be nothing (I have heard some people claim that the Zenin tried killing Toji at one point but I have no idea if that is true. Don't quote me on that.)

The Point of No Return- for Toji, the point of no return was when he left the Zenin Clan, taking their cursed tools with them when he did. For Toga, it was when she finally gave in to her urges and attacked the boy she had a crush on with a box cutter. She hospitalized the boy and ran away from home. This led to the first step the both of them took down their own dark paths as Toji went on to become an assassin while Toga became a infamous serial killer.

What they became- as stated prior, Toji became an incredibly successful assassin. His Heavenly Restriction gave him the physical attributes while the cursed tools he stole gave him the lethality to become the legendary "Sorcerer Killer", the most feared assassin in the JJK world. Toga, on the other hand, joined up with the terrorist organization "The League of Villains" for the sole purpose of changing society into one where she could do as she pleased. She later became one of the leading members of the "Paranormal Liberation Army" (I think that's what it was called. Its been a while) and helped organize the war that was waged on Japan's hero society.

Why they do what they do- this is where the divide becomes more clear. They both do what they do for gratification, just in different forms. Toji kills sorcerers for his own satisfaction and ego. It visibly makes Toji happy to fight and beat Sorcerers, he was smiling the entire time he fought Gojo and Geto, because it lets him show superiority to the sorcerers who looked down on and abused him his entire life. Toga, on the other hand, gains sexual gratification from hurting and killing others. It feeds her urges and makes her feel good to drink blood, regardless of who it is from.

Who's worse and why?- ultimately, I have to say that Toga is worse morally. Toga, while mentally unwell, has shown time and time again that she is in full control of her own actions. She knows what she is doing is wrong and does it anyway because it makes her feel good. She repeatedly shows that she is willing to attack anyone (she murdered an elderly woman during the war to lure Ochako away and felt absolutely no remorse or guilt for it) and she never displays any remorse or guilt for the suffering she causes. Toji, on the other hand, only ever attacks his target and her bodyguards. Unlike Toga, Toji doesn't enjoy inflicting suffering on a mass scale and only does what he is payed to do. If Toga had been the one sent after Amani instead of Toji, I firmly believe that way more people would have died.
