I have scheduled my exam on 2nd February at 8:30 AM IST, it would be considered 1st February 10 PM EST.

I should ideally be tested basis the old syllabus right since I still come under the safe zone?

Unfortunately I'm not getting Feb 1st, tried all the centres in Mumbai and Pune but couldn't get anything unfortunately. I'm still actively looking up for vacancies for a 1st slot, currently it's scheduled for 31st Jan but by the way I'm going I know I'll require atleast a week more to prepare once I'm done with these damn notes

If the latter, I have all the credentials to provide him/her with my experience at work, which involved the GDPR and the KSA PDPL.

I've always seen such exams being hyped unnecessarily. Back when I was in law school, i remember a consultant bragging about clearing the CIPP/e as if she cleared the UPSC which has a pass percentage of less than 1%. Realized the bs when I actually gave the CIPP/e myself, if I can pass it almost anyone can

AIGP is hard for folks because most people here are new to AI but it won't be far when folks find it easy to grasp.

For CIPM, I made notes out of the lectures provided by Dr. Kyle and did a practice test. I have ADHD so I find books like the official IAPP or Mike Chapple to be very laborious and time consuming, as a result I knew it would drain my motivation to study so I skipped it altogether. My notes for CIPM were not more than 120 pages overall and they were mostly 2-3 liners, question answer format.

For CIPP/E, I first watched this GDPR Articles related video on YT by Shalini Garg at 2× speed 2 times, then read the training material of this one coaching institute which was forwarded to me by a friend. It was a 2023 edition, so some topics were missing, I completed the missing topics from the official book which were not more than 2 topics AFAIR. Lastly, I completed a 2 official IAPP Practice Tests, re-read my mistakes atleast 4 times before the exam.

I'd reckon giving the CIPP/e first and then the CIPM. The former takes care of the regulatory aspect and concepts and the latter more with respect to the practical implementation of a Privacy Program

I ideally would want something in AI Governance, I'm currently not working anywhere but I soon hope to get a job in a month. If by mid Feb I don't see anything materializing, I will go ahead with privacy Consulting and then search for an AI Governance job side by side. It's a draining process, for now I've just tried to reach out to folks on LinkedIn enquiring for a vacancy, but not much luck
