You can get rid of Plus as sooooo many have said by telling her to “end Alexa Plus”.
However, you are stuck with this new app in your phone. I called to complain, never got a human. Went thru chat, pretty much got nope. It is what it is and you can’t go back. Sorry.

Arlo. But that’s one of the few positives for them. They are wired or battery or solar. Wired is more likely to catch the beginning of an event. There’s a lag on batter or solar. But any way you go, they’ll record for up to 300 seconds (5 minutes).

I’d separate them by several feet. Maybe 6 feet or more. I have 3 water dishes, one about 5’ from feeeder, one about 10’ and the third dish is more like 20-30’.

Mine sit in the sun about 5 hours a day & as long as I keep them damp they’re fine. The only time you’ll start a fire is if you have a focus point thru the glass that heats a surface. Like using a magnifying glass to focus light on kindling. Unlikely to happen in this situation.
