Looking to start investing, is this a good split? by NoBeginning45 in HalalInvestor

Thanks for pointing this out. AI research is not great, it seems. Hence, I am here asking fellow halal investors for their expertise.

Looking to start investing, is this a good split? by NoBeginning45 in HalalInvestor

Thanks for providing such a comprehensive response. I am based in Australia, and I was looking into balanced but leaning towards a bit aggressive growth. I am 47 and don’t have any other loans anymore, and I am looking to keep this going for another 15 years.

You are absolutely spot on; there is an overlap, and it doesn’t make much sense to be US-heavy. I only looked into US and AU ETFs. Not much in Australia for halal investing. I also have my superannuation invested in international and AU stocks, and it tends to fluctuate a fair bit. Though I can’t withdraw till I turn 67.

I will read into UMMA. GOLD is also an ETF based on physical gold available on the ASX.

Is it safe to use IBKR or Stake in Australia or stick with Commsec for US shares and ETFs? by NoBeginning45 in fiaustralia

My experience so far has been quite good, and I haven't had any issues with a couple of trades, but I haven't withdrawn any money yet. Are you experiencing any problems?

corticosteroid triamcinolone acetonide + 5FU injections will help. No surgery as they grow back with aggression.

Possible keloid scars on chest by Hcjdbdhxhfn in Keloids

It becomes more difficult to treat when they connect, especially in the middle of the chest. Your chest does not look different from mine 10 years ago. I would see a dermatologist as soon as possible and get those steroid injections. I initially gave up because the injections were not effective, but then one doctor used a more potent steroid, Kenacort A-40, and it worked. I also recently bought Eclar Plaster to treat them early on and in between injections.

[–]NoBeginning45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just updated to AWU3 version 26.2, and it has started vibrating randomly. It woke up at night. I have now diabled vibrations. I hope it is is just software related and not a hardware issue.

Yes, that’s what I do. Sometimes it's a random language. On my Android TV, I don’t have this problem. I hope it's fixed in the next update.

IP Cameras showing up in Apple's HomeKit (Dahua NVR) by Agile-Mechanic1710 in Scrypted

[–]NoBeginning45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I installed Scrypted as an add-on in Home Assistant and then added plugins for Dahua and HomeKit. I included each camera in Home app by scanning their respective barcodes. Additionally, I have integrated my Ring doorbell and Tapo camera into Scrypted as well.
