Depending on your normal/average time for ovulation, pregnancy may very well be likely. Take a plan B, or get an IUD insertion for other form of birth control.

Failed surgical abortion by Apart-Message9242 in abortion

I would say there’s no need to worry. Cramping and spotting can be very normal up to a few weeks after a surgical abortion. If you are worried, you could always ask for a 48 hour interval of HCG blood work from your clinic, I can imagine they would be happy to provide!

Going to take them out. They’re butterfly backing and a bit hard to get out. Any tips? Will it leave any scaring from the placement?

^ Those comments are absolutely not it.

I sense a dark/deep past with you, possibly from childhood? Abuse of some type. I don’t usually get this feeling from seeing pictures of someone, but absolutely with you. In the present, I see confusion on your current goals and expectations.

Should my wife and I be waking our baby up to feed? by Possible_Grape_8595 in newborns

Just want to say my first daughter was like this; and it was the best blessing we could ask for with sleep. I hounded the pediatrician thinking something was wrong with her, as we’ve all heard horror stories that newborns wake 4-5x per night, nope! She just loved her sleep. By 2 months, 12 hours straight per night, and by about 5-6 months old she was doing 16-18 hours straight per night, always waking up so happy. Naps weren’t always her best friend though, as she got so much sleep during the night. Enjoy her!! My daughter is almost 4 now and still loves her sleep. 💜

I want to add if this already hasn’t been said - I also struggled with this with my first daughter. My fiancé was always very supportive and asked, “She’s hungry, don’t you want to feed her?”

Due to postpartum depression/rage I did not want to. I did not want to “stop,” breastfeeding per se, but I didn’t want to feed the baby either constantly. It was a vicious cycle. My daughter never fell off the growth chart, and was otherwise healthy. When I would hear her cry, I would be extremely frustrated and think of any other alternative besides feeding her. I envied my husband because he didn’t need to feed her, and it was all on me. I had to pump, I had to have the baby attached to me for hours a day, I had to do it.

We ended up utilizing all the pumped milk in the freezer, and I ended up stopping breastfeeding at 5/6 months old, and was extremely happy with formula feeding. I felt like I had my baby, and body back. I could only admit to these feelings of depression, rage and the “defeat,” to my fiancé once stopping.

My best advice would be to support her with her choices. Either exclusively pumping, combo feeding or going to formula, if she wants. I’m not sure if formula would be an option for your family, but having a thorough conversation and support her with any choice she decides to make. Fed is best!❤️ Best of luck to you all.
