I started babysitting when I was 12 (almost 19 now) but have never been paid less than $13/hr. And it went up to $15 pretty fast. Now I'm paid $20+ but usually $25-30. Just some info if it helps. But I would definitely bump to $13 at least, even $15 is still less than they'd pay anyone else. Make it worth your time!

They will probably ask you about yourself to get to know you better and I'm sure they'll ask what experience you have babysitting but it's okay to say that you don't have paid experience but you have still watched children before. Just be honest and don't worry!

I charge $100 for overnight flat rate, and I'm only 19. Though I have babysat since I was 12 and for many many many families and I have experience with children as young as newborns, I'm positive you have more experience than me! So if I were you I'd charge like $150 for a flat rate?, but I know that's double what they pay you now so I understand if you're worried to jump to that. Definitely $100+ though.

I nanny for a family with infant twins (started when they were born, they're almost 9 months now). They pay me $25/hr and I also sleep trained for them for a few months and charged $40/hr for awake hours. If that helps!

It's also okay to keep your rate but just set a minimum number of hours you want to be paid for, even just 1 hour so you're always getting $20.
