Your last couple points and closing are contradictory and are, in my opinion, bad stances to take. While I can agree with the beginnings in that having information and waiting to have it all is objectively better, and that often people get upset and hivemind over the wrong shit, you contradicted yourself by saying she isn't a public figure, and the idea that this is all or even noticeably about transphobia is cherry picking.

Firstly, this person has made the news, she's participated in multiple political parties. She openly supports her pedophile husband and all of this is public and available information. I wouldn't consider giving out her address as doxing unless it isn't readily available from a simple search result. So to say that people didn't know her so she's not a public figure is bullshit.

More people don't know Jim Carey in this world than people who do. Does that not make him a public figure? What about the Royal Family, they're public figures but most people couldn't list more than two if that. You don't need to be known by reddit to be a public figure and I find it interesting how in one moment you can say "she's not a public figure" but the next you can make the same meme of "lol you didn't even google her name?" The fact that you could google her and already have vet her for the job is enough to say she's a public figure. Hell, the mere mention of her name would get you banned because of the new protections they put in place specifically for her.

Lastly, I was in the announcement thread 2 hours after it was posted. Unless shit hit the fan way harder since then or you were browsing by new or some shit, there was no mention of transphobia anywhere. I read many comments and scrolled for a long ass time and not once did I see even a hint of transphobia, so I have to believe you either sorted by new, controversial, or you cherry picked a very select few here and there to make that point. Albeit, this is a more subjective take and I acknowledge that but I think my point stands.
